I am now going backwards and forwards to the freezer every couple of hours as this red light keeps coming on. It worked all last night but during today the red light appeared again so I went through the same procedure again. After about 15 mins, you hear the freezer turn on so it is running. When I turn it on again the red light has gone out but the freezer is silent.

Next I turned the temperature dial to off and turned off at the plug as per manual instructions. I have checked all around the door seals finding no cracks, dirt etc and the door has not been left open.
